Denit's on watch
Denit monitors 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. From the data center (power, temperature, cooling), the network (routers, switches, storage) and all hardware (servers, firewalls) to every operating system (Linux and Windows) and all system software. With the help of a monitoring system, we create straightforward dashboards that give real-time insight. To monitor the behaviour of services and servers, we furthermore generate graphs based on SNMP. This enables us to better predict behaviour.
Our people are trained to spot trends and respond to alerts. But we also keep an eye on ‘small’ issues such as the expiry date of your certificates. Alertness is second nature to us.
Imagine the situation: all servers are up and running, but your applications are nevertheless unexpectedly unavailable. That is why we build custom checks. With our checks, we monitor whether your application is communicating the right status. If it does not, we intervene. And if it turns out to be an application problem, we will contact you directly to tackle the issue together.
We work with a proactive mindset. We spot issues before they become problems. Prevention is better than cure.
We also keep a close eye on when you are running up against the limits of our service. We are transparent and honest. We will advise you to downscale when necessary, for example.
Our monitoring process is fully redundant with multiple monitoring servers. There is also an escalation model built-in if a Denit administrator is not available. In order to be completely sure of the correct functioning of your systems, an SMS message is sent to our manager on duty in the event of an incident.
Do you operate in an ever-changing and flexible environment? In that case we even have an auto scaling solution for you.
In order to guarantee the continuity of your services, you need premium availability. That is precisely what Denit offers. We have a proven track record for over twenty years. Our uptime is among the top three in the Netherlands, measured among hundreds of cloud parties. In addition, we only use premium brands in our redundant network. Think of the likes of Juniper Networks, Extreme/Brocade, Dell EMC, IBM and NetApp.
And if we do not achieve our promised uptime? In that case we give ourselves a penalty. Deservedly so, since we believe in living up to high standards.
